Young Sheldon's Season 5 Episode 6 "Money Laundering and Cascade of Hormones", was a celebration of Ryan Davis, who tragically passed away during the making of the series. Davis was a renowned sound department member whose work included a number of notable television and film programs. Davis worked as an audio mixer on fifty episodes on Young Sheldon where he blended the various components seamlessly. Davis reworked each audio element, such as Adult Sheldon's Jim Parsons narration. This creates an old-fashioned feel. When the Season 4 premiere aired it was revealed that Sheldon's and Amy Bialik's future son Leonard was to be named Leonard in honor of their friend. Davis contributed to some of the most memorable scenes from prequels during the duration of his legendary career. Davis, in Seasons 2 to 5 of the Young Sheldon show, mixed nostalgic tunes, hilarious dialogue, suburban backdrop noises and thrilling football games. The result was that he helped keep the series grounded.
